Anyone remember that stage in Africa (Mali?) where they were all riding around in the bush in a big group of bikes, going this way and that looking for the track? Cyril was bullsh*t at the helicopter who wouldn't tip them off?

 My favourite rider now is Patrão (PRT). The guy started in 164º and is now 40º overall. Today he is riding in 20º place, and that means he will go up again. All this in the only Suzuki in competition... |

Dakar
Joan Barreda looks like he's going to make amends for his stroke of bad luck a few days ago by winning today's special. After leading the stage from the beginning, Barreda crossed the finish line with 7'57" on Ivan Jakes, 14'13" on David Casteu and 26'44" on Francisco López. Nevertheless, seeing how the special's gone so far, this classification is anything but final.
