![]() That being said, there are some that are too nice/old/rare/etc to be a daily or even an every weekend rider, so if you want something to put miles on regardless of rain or the occasional bit of gravel/dirt road, I'd look elsewhere. The 16" front wheel will limit your tire choices a good bit too. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. |

Not to mention seeing a "189..." trap speed and thinking "holy %&*-" before seeing the kph.

![]() I don't know the speed in MPH. 118 I think?? Someone here who could be bothered could do the conversion for me. They flash it up in mph here first then switch it over to km/h. Since mph might as well be French to me, I only pay attn to the last one. I need to get a speed reading at 205 and this forum will shit itself. |

Good for you! I would say that is a pretty respectable run...novice runner or not!I have never done a drag run on my CBF 1000, but it would be fun! From the little reading I have done on the VFR, I think you did a damn good run! ![]() BTW, both the lads I ride with have 2000 VFR's...pre VTEC...I had a chance to ride 'em..real nice bikes. There is a reason they have been around for ages! Timeless modern classics. Toto screwed with this post 01-11-2013 at 07:21 AM |

Very nice Sir!!! I would love a VF1000 in my garage. I hear those solo seat cowls are very rare. Yours looks to be in great condition. Only think it needs is a set of CBRF2 white 5 spoke wheels on there. Just my 2cents. Let me know if you ever want to sell it.

Still looks good. I like the VF1K, but in the world of the infinite garage, the VFR of that vintage that I'd own is still the 750.
But I don't live in the land of the infinite garage...

VFR Spoken here
I currently own an 1986 and 2007 , both in red, white and blue. My bigger beaST is my 2004 ST1300A.
My first new bike was a 83 VF750F Interceptor, and followed that with a new one in 1986, the new VFR750. I cannot see myself not having one. Really would love a 93 white VFR750 Euro style. Bernie |

I hate you all, I'm looking for a VFR again. My 99 was totaled in August by a guy turning left from the right lane on a 3 lane road. I replaced it with an 07 Sprint ST, but I just can't shake the itch for another VFR.

Zeke, what are your impressions of the sprint st vs the vfr? Yes, I know this has been covered many times. With that said, I find that I'm always still so interested on the opinions of those who have spent considerable time on both bikes. What part of the vfr appeals to you? Thanks!
