I don't see how a big watercooled lump with a radiator would ever look right in a bobber, but knock yourself out.

Does anybody else remember AWOL magazine? It was a british mag I used to pick up back in the 90's. Full of all sorts of cool bikes and choppers with all sorts of engines. Great magazine. I remember a few cool GSXR and FJ engined bikes that looked really nice, I think air cooled GSXR's and FJ 1100-1200's are the best looking semi-modern inline fours for a chopper/bobber.

I actually tried to correct the title of this thread.Bobber probably isn't the right word to use describing the bike I want to build.

I want to build a rigid.I think I'll end up reusing the z wheels too.I'm just kickin around ideas right now

I like the cafe style ,I'm just not interested in building one right now

I searched ebay and found a few issues that looked interesting,picked up a couple for cheap,thanks man

AWOL is resting in peace with the knowledge that the torch is carried forward by BSH , Back Street Heros magazine. In the latest issue there's a bobber with a GSXR motor and one with a Yamaha XJR 1200 in it . Both have frames called Wormburner rigid by Hard Up Choppers.
They may well ship you one in exchage for a pile of cash.

The reality of this is you can ,but should you ? 50 hp in a rigid is one thing 115 to 150 may be problematic. I'm sure you could putt around gently , but , how long before you wind it on ?
