Will a 950 ADV fit in a typical cargo van?
I looking at picking up a new to me '05 950 w/ stock bars/windshield. I need to rent a pick up or van. Will it fit in a 2012 or so Ford or Chevy 1 ton van? I'm guessing the windshield is going to need to be removed.

Yup I pulled the mirrors , windscreen then used ratchet straps from the bars to the lower fork legs to compress the forks enough that it became super easy to load.
Might have even been able to get it without compressing the forks but dumping a new bike while loading it in the dealership parking lot seemed like an embarrassing experience.

On my 950SE, I have to rotate the handlebars, in addition to removing the mirrors, so that everything clears going into my Ford E150. No windscreen to worry about for me, but I don't have to collapse the suspension at all.
It is TIGHT, though.

I settled on renting a pick-up. Last time I was at Enterprise they had a hightop Nissan. I asked today and they couldn't commit to having it for this weekend.
