Natural
Orange
Black
Gold
Titanium

Natural looks pretty good to me- can't get much simpler than that.

Anodizing a part that's in constant exposure to fuel- won't that fade away anyway? The sun seems to fade my anodized shit.

Ultimately, I don't care. Just throwing it out there.

Good anodizing (type-II) will hold-up to sun exposure pretty well. But either way, the petcock needs to be anodized to protect the aluminum from todays caustic fuels...

Are these quick disconnects going to be compatible with the stock tanks? I've been considering the same solution on my stock tank and would be interested in a couple of these if they work on the original tank.

I had no idea. I vote orange then.

But, ultimately, I don't care one bit.

Whatever folks think, I'm good with it.

I always like the look of Titanium anodizing.

In order of preference:

1. Titanium
2. Natural (close second)
3. Orange (obvious choice, but not always my favorite anodize color)
4. Gold (matching the Scotts Stabilizer?)
5. Black (meh... scratches show up too well.)

Well, we produced a couple of test articles to check for plastic flow (wall thickness) and fit. We needed to make a few changes to the mold and now we're in the second article. I'm driving out to the factory tomorrow morning to pickup the second article and check it for fit. I should know more by tomorrow afternoon...
