Weather

The whole F'n point of moving to this F'n part of the F'n country is to be able to ride my F'n bike year round but the F'n ice is staying on the F'n road and I haven't had a F'n ride in a F'n week and a half.

It's annoying me and making me grumpy.

Me too. Confining my riding between noon (after the frost melts) and 4pm (before the frost returns) sucks.

10~4 on the sucky are weather. Wednesday I loaded up my new to me YZ 125
to see if I could ride the pipey little thing at Walker. Kinda hard to get the power on the ground when the ruts are full of ice. My Excursion was even spinning its wheels in the shady spots. WTFO

1) Obviously you did not research the climate in the Pacific Northwest
before you moved. Ice is a regular feature of winter there. If you haven't
passed a triple trailer at night on solid ice when it is raining hard and visibility
is near zero, on I-84 in the Columbia Gorge ( near Cascade Locks for example )
you have missed one of the great thrills in motoring.

2) You need to watch this video. John Prine has a song he wrote just for you :

How insensitive to post this on the day Dear Abbey went to that advice column in the sky.

Off pavement is not too bad, at least at Belfair.

What Broke Now cruising the 1.9 Mile trail this morning. Notice how the two smoke exhaust blends nice with the ice fog.

Minimal mud and only one ice-induced low side in 28 miles.
