I bet he got a lot of coin, so he should be able to afford that Kevlar!

I wonder if he will want to keep Vick to run his offense. If anyone could get anything out of Vick it might be Kelly. Though if they keep him, they are going to have to pay him the money he is soon to be owed.

I am sure he will want to sit down and talk to Vick asap to see if the guy has any brains at all to run his offense.

I'd be very surprised if Vick is starting as a #1 QB anywhere in the NFL next season.

Agreed.

On a lighter note, my friend just sent me this.

It's going to happen, And I want to watch it over and over in slow motion.
I want to see how tough this freak of nature really is.
The Pack never touched him,
I don't remember if his uniform even got a grass stain on it.
Well it is nice to see that you're so willing to put your lack of class on full display.

I stated one opinion (I hope Ray does not suffer permanent damage) and a fact (he's taken helmet-to-helmet shots at defenseless players.

Because you can't argue that Ray Lewis doesn't take helmet-to-helmet shots at defenseless players.... He might not do it as often as, say, Rodney Harrison, but he does it. Ask Hines Ward. And I'm not even saying he's trying to hurt other players, or that he's doing it intentionally. Sometimes it happens. But you can't deny he does it.
Why are you aiming this at me?

My point was simple and had nothing to do with any of your points beyond my hope that he stays mentally healthy.

I did not see that coming. I thought he said he was happy staying in Oregon.
My Brother in Oregon is going to be crushed about that news.
The eagles may have just jumped to the top of his "dislike" list.

Friendly fire. Ignore me... I was having a bad day. Didn't intend to take it out on you.

Yeah, and nobody else was doing the same thing.....a can of powder the NFL could not afford to expose. Why the penalty was a scuff and a slap. Get over it. The Rams would not have won if the Patriots handed them their game plan in advance. Scouts have been spying on walk through's since the game first began. We had that intel in high school for crying out loud. You still have to execute.

How many times have the Packers beaten the Giants? They are deadly in the playoffs...for everyone. Thankfully for everyone else they pulled a Burress this year.

This year, the Pats take it all. The Harbaugh's are a snack for Belichick.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh: Patriots championships 'stained' by cheating

One of the major ways the Pats cheated was by using a 2nd (and illegal) frequency, with which they talk to the quarterback. In the NFL, the communication from coach to quarterback is shut off with 15 seconds on the play clock. The assertion in this book is that Brady was listening to a second frequency and being told what the defense will be (and where the open receiver will be) up until the moment he snaps the ball.

It sure seems like it.

Although I haven't heard any NCAA sanctions rumors. Fill me in.
