My new 2006 TT600 RE

Hello my name is Pedro i am from Portugal and i recentely bougth a 2006 Yamaha TT600 RE Bike and i was wondering if anyone could help me. In the transition of the low range To the hier range of the rpm the Bike makes a very abrupt just like a turbo engine transition, it starts very well, in the high range its very impressive, but, the transition is very strange.
Thank you all.
Kind regards

Do you mean the TT600 four valve http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/tt600/Interesting

or the yellow TT500 that he did.

Cheers,

Hi Pedro,

I think there is the problem.

C'mon Ed, Yr jealous . As partial as I am to red framed XT Tymes bike looks real sweet. And I think this is the original colour scheme downunder.

I especially like the Acerbis tank Looks chunky.

Yeh I had a couple of red frame ones back in the day, 83 to 88 were red frames here in Australia, we still had the TT600 imported here 89 to 91, still the same bikes with a couple of changes, alloy bash plate, white frame, grey engine cases, cartridge forks with rebound adjust, upgraded rear shock with rebound and compression adjust, twin piston front caliper. I know they went to Germany as well, but not sure about any where else. The frame for this re-build was originally white. If you do a google image search for tt600 59x you will see plenty of them. I will do a red one if I do another one one day BIG ED.

Yes I know about the white frames overseas to you guys. We just had the TT600 here from 1983-1986 so no "real" updates of the bike. I guess everybody was buying them Hondas XRs.
In Itay theres a web site for the TT600 59x bikes. Check it out. Also theres a germany web site too for the TT600.
In Holland theres a ride for yamahas each november. SRXT 500 Dutch. is web address. Just google it.
Theres a cool Blue frame TT600 on the ride.
I am working on a 83 TT600 "Dual-Sport". It will have a 90s 600 motor. electric button!! Have a set of YZ 250 front on here too. Rear will have a dics brake. Will post photos of it. Thump-On!! Big ED XT TT600 Fan!!

Well, I found many info about this interesting bike. I hope to see one of this very soon, in the meantime I got myself this Belgarda TTS/TTE mix

when finished, it will look a little bit closer to that wonderful "prototype"

Very nice bike. The TTS and TTE Belgarda models have still the most beautifull lines of all off road bikes and I like your transition to a modern colour scheme very much.
