Was just wondering if the steering stops work for you. |

Steering Stops
The steering stops didn't work for me so I welded one on. Right below the wiring harness loop. This is on my XR600 but the same as the XRL with CRF triples

worked perfect for me, but do notice I have a smaller clarke tank now and not the big ims4 had to do nothing and turning radius is maybe a teeny smidge less than before... hows yours coming along? |

hey I posted on your thread
you just need to hammer the lock washer flat, enlarge the hole and align it so the tab sits back like stock then when the top clamp is on you can lift up the tab basically stock the lock washer is not big enough to be able to flip up so it rests uneven on the actual lock nut. so just do that and you be golden good luck! |

What is everyone doing about the too-long CRF forks? They're nearly an inch longer than the XR forks.

^^^^^yuppers
play with them...go up and down and see what works best in dirt... for example put the forks 2 inches from top...you will notice it turns like a beast carves almost too well! but at speed you will wobble like crazy the push them up all the way flush and it will be choppered out and smooth on the highway but it will suck even more than the stock forks when it comes to turning this is commonly caused "pushing" if you cant find a happy medium then you need to look at correct springs for your wieght and usds forks... cheers |
