New Adventure in the USA!
A friend of mine went to Chaparral Motorsports and told me that the new Adventure 1190 was there!
He saw the motorcycle, but was informed that it was not for sale just a demo bike. Does anybody saw the new 1190 there? It would be interesting for you guys around California to call them and see if this is true. He has a 2010 990 Adventure and was very impressed with the new 1190.

I wouldn't be surprised if he saw the Baja and mistook it for the 1190.

in most of the specs that i found online it is not mentioned anything about a steering damper.
Does anyone know if the new bike will be equipped with one ? Or it will be something extra to add. |

My bad the new 1190 was there not anymore..
Spoke with my friend and he told me that the motorcycle was there for a short period and that it was going to be around the country in different dealers to show the bike. So he was lucky because he was there at the time that Chaparral had the bike for a short period.
![]() Sorry for the confusion guys, now we just need to know where is this bike! |

thank you very much. i guess it is not an electronic-adjustable stabilizer , right ? If it is an analog one, that would be too bad. |

Just curiosity, why do you think would be too bad?

A stabilizer that is pre-adjusted before a ride, is set at one position. So no matter if you drive with 10mph or 100mph, the resistance remains the same. On an electronic adjusted stabilizer, the faster you drive or the more aggressive you accelerate the higher the resistance of the stabilizer on the steering system. An small example, you do not need a steering wheel that is too hard to turn while driving with 20mph in the city. At least that is what my experience says after driving my bike with an e-adjusted stabilizer and a bike with an analog adjusted stabilizer. |
