A few pics from today’s practice @ San Y

while everyone was off having lunch I decided to go try this rock, I got up it a few times and came off of it backwards once. About than Lineaway came over and told me where everyone was headed

so I started to follow him a few hundred yards after we left that rock I was shifting from second to third and it didn’t want to go into third so I was screwing with the shifter with my foot and the bike started making “metal slapping niose” so I shut the bike off and put it into neutral but the shifter didn’t have that spring feel that holds it in the center position so I cranked the bike with the kick starter it didn’t feel bad so I started it and it had that same Bad noise so I shut it off and pushed it back to camp.
One I got home I pulled the side cover on the clutch side and found this spring part in the oil.

The oil did have a good amount of fine metal flakes in it

Wow grizzz... that really sucks. I hope if is an easy fix! I wondered why you split so quick!

Gallup's event is being moved from March to April. That means that SY will be moved from April to March.
This is due to concerns about the weather being too sketchy in Gallup in the first of March and having to set the event up in February.

I have removed the flyer from post one for now so that we don't get anyone confused.

Well awrighty then. CAT will have a trials at Valentine (on Rt 66 east of Kingman) on March 10, with the viking and me setting. Back to back travel weekends are hard to pull off, so good onyer for moving Gallup back a month.

Well, I won't be there, I had Gasser problems that I thought I could fix today but can't (broken kickstart gear). Maybe next weekend, I can bring the truck and nab it.
