Not what you're expecting.

I give it 5 sculpted sticks, cuz Olivia Wilde is hot and Jennifer Garner is psycho.

Can I recommend a TV series in this thread? Well here goes.

I recently started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. This is the best series I've ever seen, at least so far. A great story (even if it is clearly derivative of Weeds). I love the way the main character slowly transforms from someone you root for into a bad guy. The cinematography is great, as well as the sound. Even the cars the characters drive are appropriate for their personalities. I recommend it.

'The Devils Double' - about Uday Husseins body double.

'The Meat Train' - a killer lurks on the subway - much weirder than it sounds. Interesting cinematography, which is just as well because the hero is a photographer. Vinny Jones does his thing: Welsh hard man extraordinar

It's not my thread, but I don't see why not, since Netflix is so heavy on TV these days. That being said, I heartily recommend Flashpoint. Solid 5.

I know this is the best of Netflix, BUT I just watched what may be the worst movie of my life. "Air Collision" dated 2012. Over acted, over music'd, over CGI'd, almost constant screaming. I hardly watch movies, they're just background noise for my internet surfing. This one had me begging for the end.

A few I've watched recently:

Iron Sky: Very campy, but a great popcorn movie. I loved the dark humor and how they made fun of both sides.

My Way: Excellent WW2 drama, good action and a great story.

The Edge: Set after WW2 in Siberia, kinda slow to get started but worth the wait.

I've also started watching the miniseries The World Without End, based on the Ken Follett book. Much better than I had expected it to be, the characters are fantastic.

Just watched Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol.

My one word review: tedious.

How many close calls can you shoehorn into a movie? As many as they did with MI-GP, and the result is a tedious film just begging to end.

Blech!

Ken Follet's World Without End

multi-episodes; it's got everything: love, lust, revenge, action, intrigue, and a Mother Superior who makes me weak in the knees. and for Cynthia Nixon fans its a reel (sic) treat.

not a big fan of the middle ages era, but i was hooked after the first ten minutes.

Clive Barker story, from his original Books of Blood.

Very, Very good story, film is great. (Ultra-Violent.)

Guns, Girls and Gambling

Christian Slater tells a pretty good story in this one.
Midget Elvis, Asian Elvis, Gay Elvis, The Rancher, The Chief, The Cowboy, The Blond Assassin and the Girl Next Door... All have roles to play.
