Got to echo those sentimentsThis has been my first f5irehose experience and it's been an incredible ride. Because of the time difference, there's been a few nights when Luis beat me to the finish
but to be able to catch up during the day has made all the difference.
The interchanges with Brodo, TSC et al have brought the whole thing to life and there have been times when I've laughed so hard the dog has growled at me.
Thanks everyone for sharing your knowlege, your experience, and your inside stories; those are the things that make the f5irehose come alive for the two weeks.
Then, to make it really complete, the Aussies have done an incredible job in the rally

Does anyone else have a really flat feeling today

Yup. There is only one way to beat the the F5 blues. I tinkered with the race bike today, dug up an old roadbook route
of 150kms and phoned some friends. Next weekend, we ride!

Can I just say thanks to everyone here for the last two weeks. There can be no doubt that this is the biggest and best place to be a Dakar fan - thank you all !

But perhaps the biggest thank you has to go out to Baldy for letting us play in his sandpit !
