We rode 640 miles in 3.5 days at 5 Trail Heads

Awesome place

Weather is too cold & unpredictable in winter time. This Mike also votes for Spring

Go during the week to avoid the Quad traffic

Rockhouse Lodge in Man WV gets my vote as place to stay

Did you get the officer's name? I sure hope I don't run into this guy.

There are so many things legally wrong with the way that officer handled that situation he needs to be reported so that if nothing else he gets proper training. That is a serious breech of the public trust and should not go unreported.

I didn't get his badge number, I can't remember his name, and honestly I'm just glad to be let go. At this point I'm really considering leaving this state, the lack of places to ride a dual sport bike other then loops at pay resorts, or ohv areas, Plus being harassed by LEO and land owners.

Thanks Flux...that's what I figured. I'm at the point where I'll try just about anything on the 690. It's easy to pick up

Then we had to turn the Tiger around on singletrack on the side of a mountain. Not fun. But memorable! Sometimes I really miss that bike (but then I go ride the 950 )
Now *that* I don't envy. Reminds me I need to put some webbing in my trail kit.

The hatfield-mccoy stuff looks awesome. Spring road-trip!

I here ya, but I was on a public road, then after was told to ride the trails back to my house, was in non posted area. Which if i was detained or arrested for trespassing I wouldn't be on a public forum complaining about it.

I know the GSP has been patrolling on 293 within the city limits of Acworth for the past few days.

WTF?

damn I was figuring on some smart ass banter but you took my smart ass banter very well like, a humble guy
this just kinda legitimizes your story to me ( not that my opinion means shit form shit )
I agree with the rookie approach because most gsp are usually ok as far as cops go!

Hope to see around
