This came in the mail from Russia yesterday. Added the NATO strap today. It's really cool.

One more Sea Shark here. Fantastic value.

Thanks for pointing that out for the community. Regrettably, I'm a bit anti-quartz, so I had forgotten.

Hamilton vs. Smiths vs. other
Alright, my birthday is on the horizon so a watch is a definite possibility. Which of the following would you recommend: Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 42mm or Smiths Everest? They are roughly the same price, both autos, both look good on leather (even though the Smiths comes on a bracelet). As an outlier I am also considering something like a Casio Pathfinder PRW2500-1 for a hunting/outdoors watch. Any thoughts, opinions, personal experience with any of these would be greatly appreciated.

Man, I would LOVE a Khaki or a Smiths. I'd lean toward the Smiths since it's less common. Of course the Casio is more practical, but what fun is that?
No experience with any, but they're all great, from my reading. |

Very nice piece. I hadn't heard of Bernhardt watches. I'm really digging the Sea Shark. That's a great value - about the same price as a Seiko 007 but from a small American company. I may be adding one of those to my small collection soon.

I like that Binnacle Anchor. I had one a while ago and let it get away from me. Today I'm wearing this Seiko diver from June of 1983.
