Riding down to Guaymas from Banámichi with some Bisbonians (but unfortunately, not the real and original Bisbonian) then the ferry to Santa Rosalia in Baja Sur. Will be wolfing down anti nausea pills by the handful for the overnight trip. The weather report looks good on both sides with clear skies and a waxing gibbous moon.
Any one have a good maritime forecast site for the Sea of Cortez with winds and sea heights?

The Baluarte Bridge is still not officially open yet, but a 50 peso bill placed discretely in the hand of the Security Guard working there might get him to lower the chain, or so I'm told

They opened up a new stretch of the Autopista. We did downtown Maz to DGO in 4 hours.

I got mine in black last week getting to know her .,bet is more fun the Espinazo but will have to check the autopista as soon the weather permits

The engineering on the new highway is amazing. I knew it was the biggest road project in the history of Mexico, but I recently read that it is the biggest highway construction project ever in North America (I am not sure if that is true or not?), but $1.2 Billion USD, 63 tunnels and 14 bridges, 115 structures.

Which end do you enter from south or north. I'll be coming from the south. Once on the bridge can I keep riding on riding or do I need to turn around at the end of the bridge.

This one recently opened near Vancouver BC is the second longest in NA and the widest in the world. The scenery at the Baluarte is much nicer IMO and being a Civil Engineer the Baluarte almost gives me wood.
