Wild goalie Josh Harding got a shutout last night against the Stars in his first start since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

I have some relatives with MS, and it is a slow progressing disease, most of the time, but damn, can't imagine it for a pro goalie.

One of my best friends has MS. It is fucking scary. You never know if you are going to be completely fucked every time you wake up. Every time you are sick you have to go the hospital.

Good game between Buffalo and Toronto last night. Damn Miller...leave it to him to be in mid-season form right out of the gates. Still, it was hard to be too upset at the Leafs' performance. They pushed the pace for the entire game. If it weren't for Miller's acrobatics (and 2 goals called back) it coudl've been a very different outcome. Kadri's determined to make a name for himself this year, it seems.

Oh, and Scott will think twice before he calls out Orr again. TIMBERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

I'm sliding right from the NFL into the NHL. They should wait to start every NHL season until after the NFL season ends.

It usually lines up perfectly with baseball. I just ignore the NFL and NBA.

Except during the playoffs, when the Bruins made it in 07 I think it was against Montreal they bumped them to standard def so the Red Sox game (which had next to no meaning being so early in the season) could be HD. They didn't do that again after the outrage
