Soon stewardd joined us and we headed off on my route. First stop, Hunt Road Waterfall

After the amount of rain we've had over the past week or so, I was curious to see how much water was going over the falls.

While we were hanging out on the bridge, we hear a bike coming. I thought someone might have seen our posts and come looking for us. But the bike didn't sound quite right...

This guy appeared and rode down to the falls...

Soon we are at the first gas stop in Port Gibson...

What's an ADV rider to do when in this area and lunch time hits?

Go park by this tree:

Cause it's right across the street from the Old Country Store in Lorman, MS!!

After filling our belly's on Mr. D's Fried Chicken... We were off!

Next stop, a low water bridge to check on the water levels!

A mostly clean Tiger...

A really clean and well farkled Tiger...

The current was really pushing under the low water bridge...

On we rode, weaving between curvy pavement and gravel and soon pulled up at the "Ghostown" of Rodney.

Then we rode up on this... Looked like edge of road eroded so they dumped some dirt and made a new path...

babarnette checks out the pantry...

There was a fresh coat of paint on all outside surfaces...

Barbwire and vines all tangled up over time...

It was a great day to ride with nice weather and some great company on the ride!!! Thanks for following me around, fellows!!!

Thanks BW thanks for the tour it was great and enjoyed it greatly. Great to meet you and Baba great riders and company and full of History lessons. Look forward to more adventures!!

Trailblazer posted that he wanted to lead a ride and I hate to miss his routes, so i made the Saturday morning MS ADV Breakfast and then headed out to meet Trailblazer and friends...

At breakfast, couple of our BMW riders were headed out to camp and ride... If you look closely, there is a bike under the Gypsy Packing

Then after lunch...

We crossed this bridge a few weeks ago... But we also had about 2 weeks of rain earlier this month!

I don't think Trailblazer wanted to try to cross on the Uly!

We checked the creek bed, thought about it, but Trailblazer said it wasn't far to go around...

Glad I wasn't in the lead on this one! This wash / piled up gravel hump was a surprise!!!

Overheard "It isn't an ADV ride until the tool kit or tire kit comes out!"
