Gotcha. Do you have any kind of shop press? Dunno if you have any more bending to do, but these actually work pretty well. Or you could just buy one.

No, but we've been talking about them. Mostly for working on steering stems and such. A press brake would be a nice addition to one of those. I couldn't think of anything else on this bike that needed a brake... until I remembered the skid plate.

The press is high on my list right now, will go over to harbor freight and check them out, maybe at lunch today.

You may regret them opening one across the street from your work

If you don't already have one, I'll mail you a coupon for the 20 ton model at $149.99.

That would be cool, but they will take only one coupon per day- even if you are buying more than one item.

Send the coupon, we will use it on our new press! Went to HF at lunch to look at the press and ended up buying 4 items!

Right across the street from work, this could get expensive even at those prices

Just remember, if you don't need it today, never buy anything at HB that isn't on sale, because it will be within two weeks.

And stay far away from the 4.5" cutoff saws with a switch, only use the ones with the DeadMan Paddle! I had an incident (read poor judgement) and one got away from me and ran down my leg! I'm just glad it only had the Brillo Pad head on it and not the cut-off wheel!

Rick did some brazing this evening. You know it's serious work when we're drinking beer again.

The airbox is more of a manifold. There is one inlet that an air filter will be clamped to and 4 outlets that go to the individual carbs. Here's the progress so far:

The inlet still needs to be brazed in and then the two parts brazed together. And yes, those tabs on the side will either be folded up or cut off.

No pictures, but the little bender did a lot better on 22ga than 16ga. Unfortunately it's still a bit wonky from yesterday's abuse.
