Now if you had an Enduro Engineering seat, we could make you a low one, they have there own pan that is not hollow underneath. Bundy

More on the seat recover:
![]() Pan minus seat cover and pad. ![]() ![]() ![]() Pads compared. The New pad is a bit taller both front and back, but dished more. It is also slightly taller i front. Hope this isn't an issue as I am short with a 28" inseam. ![]() New pad on the pan. Good fit. I would have finished it, but I had the wrong length staples. So tomorrow instead. Jim

Installed the seat foam and cover today:
![]() Heating the cover to make it pliable in my 40° garage. ![]() Installed and stapled the foam, in front staples. ![]() Used a bit of glue in the dished part of the seat to hold it down. ![]() ![]() ![]() Great fit! Looks good. The seat is definitely taller than stock, but it feels like it will be more comfortable. I can still get my toes down!

What is the seat height for the BMW F800GS with this seat? Is there a low seat option?

I got a Seat Concepts seat for my 09 Husaberg this past summer and I am very pleased with it. It's now time to get one for my 03 BMW Dakar. How much extra will it cost to do a suede top with carbon fiber sides? Anybody got a picture of this type of seat on a BMW Dakar?

Jim? I thought you had abandoned us GS'ers to ride a Bonniville or some such nonsense!

![]() By the way, 100 miles on the seat Sunday, and am pretty impressed. It is high in front, but like a stock or Sargent seat set in the high position, as many of us do anyhow. ![]() Jim

KLR Tall seat
Installed my KLR tall seat this afternoon. Went OK, lots easier with a helper to shoot staples while I held the cover in place. A little wrinkles at the rear corners, couldn't figure out how to staple it down without wrinkling. But that area is pretty hidden. Looks good and very comfy, although a ride test will wait until outside temp is above freezing and roads are clean (-25 in town today).
I wear 34" length for pants. I can just flatfoot with the tall seat, which is what I was expecting when I ordered it. Certainly any less than 34" inseam you should probably order the regular seat. Sorry for the bad photos, very cramped in the garage in winter time.

No problem, MacNoob...they are not at all bad - in fact - they are not at all visible (at least not from where I am sitting)...LOL
