In addition, Ron from Motorado would really love to get a chance to sell my KTM on consignment, so if anyone is even remotely-entertaining the idea of getting a 990 Adventure, contact me ASAP... I can possibly work an "ADV SPECIAL" deal before I give Ron a shot at it.

2000 DRZ400E



This is the earlier E model (2000-2002) which runs higher compression, better cams, and a better carb than the later DRZ models. Hard to find a stock engined DRZ with this much power.

This bike has approximately 200 miles since I rebuilt the top end.

Fires up whenever I want it to, without issue.

Titled and street legal.

It isn't a show bike and gets ran in the dirt, snow, and mud. It is for riding and riding hard.

S model radiators for better cooling
Electric fan, not hooked up yet

The bad:


Needs tires, the knobbies on there are around 40%, if that
Fork seals have started to weep
Electric fan isn't hooked up
Brake light stays on, just for show
Getting to be brake pad time
The clutch isn't needed with the Rekluse so it's just left unhooked down by the crankcase
The exhaust is for an S model so the mid mount hole is about 1/2" off. It's still solid.
I can think of three holes that need tapped

I will include an S subframe w/ airbox which will take care of two of the holes needing tapped (on airbox) as well as the misaligned exhaust mount (on subframe).

Will trade for a later KTM 300 or a KDX220 or 200 in GREAT shape
