Good quality for the pricepoint, and very good light output. They are small, but nicely plated, and mount easily. Even the wires coming out of them is good quality.
I'll let you know as I get more miles on them, but so far they are great! Jim

Sanjoh,
the picture of "tree in spotlight" also shows lots of lightning in the area just in front of the bike/setup. Understanding the new models are spot lights I guess this "front lightning" is from another source. Could you explain which ones these are? To help understand my question please note that I was hoping for a 3600lmn spot but similar in size as the 60 (and other) models. If you have a another picture of "a 60 and the same setup with tree" that would be a nice way to guestimate the difference in light output. Now if that other source would be "only a single 60" we have a fine way to compare Thanks Paul |

How does this light compare in size to the model 60 (side by side comparison)?
More pics & dimensions are on his website. The new lights look great John, but the 44's with a dimmer suit my need better, order placed.

The single is only 2" x 2" square overall size? So reflector is 1.5 - 1.75" diameter, somewhere in there? That's a perfect size for aux. light IMO.
Those look really, REALLY good, sanjoh!! Then I see $40 for a single unit and my cheap ass almost has a heart attack!!

2" (50mm) square frontal area, length: 3" (79mm), 3" (76mm) from mount to top of light.
1.6" or 41mm Thanks
The Model 60 is roughly half the size of the M64.
The M64 mounts using a single M8 bolt (included) on pivoting bracket. Here is a picture of the mount. ![]() Thank you. I was looking for a side by side picture, both the model 60 and 64 from the front. Mount seems substantial, the U-bracket is very compact, I guess you can still swivel the light up and down, curious to see more pictures of the light mounted to bikes. |

Well I just ordered 2 of the M61's and 2 waterproof connectors. Also just noticed these only pull .6 amps!! Great for me because my trail tech stator puts out only about 110W max. I prefer a H4 headlight for my main light so 60W is gone right away minimum. But,,,, now I can run 2 of these and a 70/65 osram bulb. Perfect!! I really dig the bigger reflector and the fact they are still very small. Can't wait,,, I love new toys!!!
I'll post pics as soon as I can but we are elbow deep in snow now so it'll probably be a while. Sanjoh, is the model 30 beam approx 15 degrees as well? |
