Kaiser, you've still got the KLR right? What you do is take the milk crate off the tail rack and use it as the center stand. Yeah, this thing is cool, but a REAL KLR owner would use the milk crate trick. Oh, and don't buy your crate from Touratech or someplace like that.

Our "missing in action" friend TXjames is apparently a bit of a toolsnob. ;) ;) ;) who knew? When we were trying to change Odie's tire last year trail side , it would have been great

I saw a similar device on eBay but for more money and Eagle Mike has always done me right.

In Big Bend, "neanderthal milk crates" are everywhere to be found. Its even better if you can find the rock that gave you the flat and use it.

Just got back from bombing around Terlingua and the Nat'l Park. No flats for us, but busted foot pegs and leaky fork seals.
