Too cold to venture outside so I decided to spend the afternoon doing the 6,000 mile service on the beemer. Valves were good and no fault codes in the computer so all looking good. About two dozen things to check but didn't take all that long. If it warms up Monday like it's supposed to and isn't raining going to get back out and ride. Got knobbies on the beemer now too.
![]() ![]() ![]() The rest of the story.....hook up the PC to the bikes computer and do the following * Ready any fault codes and fix * Set Idle actuators so they are in sync and know where off is. * Loc idle actuators so that the throttle bodies can be sync'd * Sync throttle bodies. Here are a few pics from the above process. Makes it easy when you can do all this (other than adjust the throttle cables to sync them) ![]() ![]() Sorry for the screen shotpictures....kinda hard on the eyes ![]() ![]() Throttle bodies need some adjustment. (done at 3500 RPM) ![]() After adjustment ![]() 6,000 mile check list now done and ready to ride. Bike purrs like a kitten.

They are a ok. Sophia is growing up quick, and Vince turns 1 on Feb. 11th(I will be gone, but we will celebrate when I return). Time flies.
BTW they called me today, I will be most likely going to my usual job for the first week, then the 407 transition as it got pushed back a week. I was looking forward to the shorter drive to Lafayette instead of Houma. Oh well, when I finish the 407 I will be off, but I might volunteer to do a day or 2 of workover in that aircraft. Maybe that is.

What kind of knobbies did you put on the GS Mike? I'm still running TKC's on mine and like them a lot. I'm ready for a ride too!

Heidenau K60 on the rear should wear about the same and so far I like the combination.
