Not gonna post a pic because you guys already know what it looks like. The bike I want to today is the BMW S1000RR. I checked one out today while in Pensacola and sweet Jesus, I fit on it. I couldn't take it for a test ride because there was an event going on, but I'll be back for that test ride later.

![]() Yeah, yeah, I don't mind the brass bits, though it is a toss-up between that color and this one:

I have a Fat Bob in black, bought it after 2 decades of swearing I'd never ride a Harley.
Other than riding off road or on track, this is by far the go-to bike for me now. I've owned a ton of bikes and for some reason there is no comparison to jumping on this bike with my wife on the back and just going out to ride for a few hours.

Funny how our prejudices can be proven wrong once we open our minds a bit, ain't it? Or maybe its just that our tastes change. IDK. Either way, I know the feeling all too well. I'm still fairly shocked when I hear myself say, or even think, that I have a Harley now.

I'm pretty sure with all the accessories available for Harleys that you could set it up any way you like. I have Harley's Sundowner seat on my Nightrod Special and it's the best seat I've ever had on a bike.I test rode one of these and thought it was probably the best handling Harley I'd ridden. They can be set up with mid controls also, if that's your preference, as they were originally offered with either mid or forward controls.

Almost bought a Ducati Monster (2009 696 black w/650mi on it) yesterday, on my birthday. I resisted. Why? It wasn't red, and it was a 696. If it was Red, OR was a 1100, I would've gotten it.
I want a red 796 or 1100 Monster. Always have. Might make it happen this year. ![]() OR a trials bike. That would be cool too.
