ScootDawg Forum Hacked?
Any comments? Looks like a hijack . . speculating forum host Proboards had nothing to do with this since the re-direct is a vBulletin based forum! New Topic and Reply buttons have been removed. Forum link

Looks legit to me. I joined that forum back a couple of years ago, when I was seriously considering buying a Chinese 150cc scooter, and just see how long I could keep it going. Other things came along and it never happened. Might still happen though, I'm getting more and more things squared away.

Email
Did any one else get the email from scootdawg? I hadn't been there in a while. This is what I received:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What a ride these last couple weeks have been. I've noticed that when all this began some of you had gone to the "new scootdawg forum" but have stopped posting there as well as the original forum. That may be because you really did believe that the old place was lost forever. It is not so, Proboards re-opened it to us, and it is still up and going. I wish I was able to send a message out to each individual but it just is not possible, so this is actually a mass email to all that we have a current email address for. The light is on and you are welcome to come home. Doug -- You are receiving this message because you are a member of the forum located at: scootdawg.proboards.com

I also got that email, even though I haven't posted there in over a year.

Summary
"and Terri Lee posts as a female on all of them. Did I get this all straight?" Not sure about the straight part . . perhaps those forums need a dedicated "tranny" category. Hope cookees does not get "wished into the corn field" . . . tortoise2 screwed with this post 02-27-2013 at 12:59 PM |
