Well you're right it could be any stream but this pic isn't any more obscure than some of the other pics that get posted up here.

Hint #1, it's not a stream, it's a river. But not the Yakima, Tieton or Little Naches.

Hint #2, I'm looking downriver. In other words, north.

Yer gettin the idea Starkmojo. Best as I can figger, the actual headwaters of this fork is 20 miles upstream from the pic. A river goes for 20 miles through this kind of country and still you can jump over it?

From the flood zone it probably looks a lot bigger at snow melt time.
