Hi Terry,
I'm looking at getting the DR650 rear shock shaft upgrade. I currently have the stock rear shock with a 7.5 kg/mm aftermarket spring that uses the stock spring perches. I’m interested in buying a new shock shaft assembly but would like to forgo buying another spring. Does the shock shaft assembly come with a spring adapter that works with stock sized springs? Thanks!! Chris |

I had my Triumph Tiger 1050 back out to Racetech after a gold valve install so one of their techs could evaluate it. He was quite happy with the balance & compliance as was I. Looks like a super setup for those of you with this bike.

It's not advertised for the front, but RaceTech has one. I bought all the front components and have yet to install them. I was told the rear kit is coming shortly. I got new springs, spacers and gold valve kits for rebound and compression. I've used RaceTech in the past on my DR650 and the results were night and day. Clearly more work if you are doing it yourself, but great results for the cost. I think I was in the $400 range for everything for the front end. Unknown on the rear. All that has held me off is that I need a headlift stand so I can remove the forks. Regards p3 p3 |
