The only way my 1963 snow blower will start is with a shot of ether.
That's ok with me. If the fucker blows up, I can justify buying a new one. Scion IQ review: Best Post Of The Week! Now, back to our car thread morphing into a "How to negotiate with dealers" thread.

I also learned that my 11 year old stinks at recording a video of an S60 four wheel drifting in the snow.

That one is fairly similar to mine, a Moto-Mower brand with a Tecumseh engine. I was able to date it from the engine tag when I ordered parts for it once. It's heavy, a PITA to start, none of the controls work like they should and I had to weld the axle sprocket to the axle to keep it from wandering and kicking off the chain. But, it's better than shoveling and does a good job once it's going. The $75 I paid for it 12 years ago was probably worth it.
I'd like a fancy new one with electric start and heated grips but anything that is so expensive I need to make payments on it ain't for me.

Checked out the new BRZ from Subaru - Toyota... impressive but I don't know if I can give up on convertibles. Was looking at Porsche's Cayman but also looking at a used Viper or used Nissan GTR. Problem is I will still need a winter vehicle.

Glad we're past snowblowers
![]() I was faced with that same issue when I sold the Miata and bought the Shelby. I still have a motorcycle and a Jeep, so it isn't the end of the world. I'm really thinking a low mile garage queen Boxter S will be my next target should I ever decide to sell the Shelby, but I have to admit I'd weigh it heavily against a C6 Vette. But right now I'm not ready to let go of the Shelby, so it doesn't matter.

I think that I too will be soon in the market for a gently used Boxster S. .....or Cayman, but I really am a ragtop man.
....unless, the siren call of a 993 is something I cannot resist....

Since this is the ALL things automotive thread, can we at least agree that this is the coolest and best looking racing car of all time?

I never found a snow blower attachment for it, but I have a 1968 gravely snow plow.
![]() ![]() Back on topic - sorta. Did the hit every dealer and look till the mind is overwhelmed thing yesterday. Ended up back at the Ford dealer and drove the focus and escape. Decided on a focus as her daily driver then will look for a family hauler to keep as a third(wait, that's the jeep) fourth vehicle. I figure by Tuesday I'll have it down to one or two dealers, then take the van in and get trade in estimates. If the numbers work, great. If not, the auto show is in three weeks. I can start all over then.

Problem with those miata's is at 6'1" the view through the top of the windshield frame is sort of restrictive while driving.
And, when the top it up it sorta interferes with the head. Boxter or S2000... Plenty of head room and a view through the screen.
