This looks like fun stuff.

I've always enjoyed doing the u-turn box in my MSF courses. It's remarkably easy on a dual sport or a low slung cruiser, but things get interesting with a sportbike.

I wonder how my Ninja 1000 would do. Might need to head to a parking lot and burn off a few thousand miles of clutch material.

yeah im fine, im on one of the tallest places in oz infact, although in a bit of a vally where i actually live, but its fine,

my brother on the other hand a few hundred km away has the water upto his arm pits under his house (its on stilts for flood proofing)

but i did go for a ride today through some of it around here, just the bridges and rivers overflowed here,

Used to think the same thing but sprot bikes do just fine. Technique, you got to have the technique.

Glad your not up to your arm pits in crocs & snakes SS. Watching the news it looks like half the continent is burning & the other half drowning.
Some of the sparks have blown across the ditch & set Canterbury alight.

This was part of my G/F's biggest ride to date. She's going like a legend, I did give her a bollicking for not backing off going up the hill when it got wet. Her second slide slowed her own. All skills learned in a car park....

they kinda built the road around the water fall, in that section it goes to 1 lane, give way on one side. the water fall goes between the road and the cliff. but when it rains, it gets bigger, and of course, goes over the road.

Great video. One question comes to my mind. I had always learned the set of hand signals that use the non-throttle hand. Yet in the video they use throttle side signals for slowing, turning right, passing, etc. Is that due to driving on the left side or did the convention change some time after this film?

Welcome! I, too, carry about a half-dozen tennis balls in the side-cases of my Wee-Strom, due to the bad influence of the other gents in this thread

As far as a moto-gymkhana rule book...perhaps Motogymkhanaman can help you there; most of the rest of us are pretty much just surfing YouTube and trying to emulate what we see there, lol.

Alright - then riddle me this... Why are they indicating a left hand turn with a left hand signal?
