The 115o is a grreat bike, but the R1200 is a handlin' mofo, with alot more power on tap. Just a complete newer gen bike than the previous.
I just saw one on CL in CA asking $7800 with lotsa farkles and 24K.
If you can spare the hussle the extra, it's well worth it.
But the 1150R is a fine momo.

I haven't seen many used R1200R's at all but I'll keep my eyes open for something on the higher mileage end.

1200 balanced better by far. Smoother in the "good zone" More power and more torque.

camhead even more torque right where you want it too!

What year are you looking for? I have a 2007 Crystal Grey and although I'm not really looking to sell it I would if the stars were right.

This thread is killin me. I have new-bike-fever and was thinking of adding a standard to the stable (of 1). Seems to me this standard would fix my sport tourer, hop on and go city bike, carver, sight-seeing, two up comfy for wife and grocery-getter and general-purpose road bike. There are some sweet-looking units up here.
