I plan to check these out when they are released but I will NOT trade my 08 R1200 GSA on it

Supposedly they're planning on releasing the Adventure version this fall. Either way, if I was going to buy one I would probably wait another model year or two, let em work out the bugs.

I figure with them already out, most bugs will be worked out by the time I get one...

Assuming it goes for $25k and you saved $10 a day, you'd have the cash and they'd have the bugs worked out at about the same time (6 years, 310 days).

A goal to shoot for then. Until then, I keep my '07 and pretend it is a better bike and that any changes to the GS since then, are just ill conceived and not worthy of the money required. When I finally do buy a new one I will make sure to hold it out as the paragon of motorcycle engineering and wonder how all the little people get by without one. :)

But it still won't be as good if a bike as the 1150gsa.
