Waiting for tire to be mounted on my Wee, came across this machine. First time i've seen one in person, must say it is quite tempting. Good thing i'm way too broke to be serious.

I have wanted one of these for a couple of years, but where I live objects (right off a 75 mph highway). However, we may be moving into town in the next few months. I may have to rethink if I could use one of these living in the mostly 45 mph city.

This would be a GREAT around town/campsite scoot. I had one for about 6 months to intro my GF to bikes with clutches. It would top out (stock) at 45mph (GPS verified). Just fast enough to get run over where I live. Video of my bike I used to sell it on CL...

I read a report that claimed the 125 Madass reached a top speed of 56 mph and that with some bolt-on goodies it could top 75 mph. That could be a FUN little urban assault scooter!

There's even a forum devoted to them HERE.

Good luck, even with a new sprocket it MIGHT make it to 55. I doubt it. The video I posted shows how hard this nearly new bike had to work to make 45.

You might get to 75 with the motor swap.
