Snow riding is good times. For me, deeper is better. When a road has been plowed, it is just death slick. For the picture in the middle I was running studs, but the other two are regular knobbies.

As someone that grew up in Northern Ontario - snow riding is not that big of a deal.
MotoCamping when it is -4 (-20c) degrees? That'll put hair on your chest ![]() ![]() Thanks for the video - I've seen it popping up all over the place today. It has inspired me to spend the day on the 950 tomorrow seeing how high I can get in the Colorado mountains before snow turns me back

I ended up spending the day on the 500 instead. I'll get the 950 out tomorrow now I've explored what's passable and what's not

It appears to be an Acerbis supermoto fender... http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...nt-Fender.aspx I don't know for a fact. However, I had one on an old bike of mine, and the one in the vid looks very similar. .

I've a marmot never-summer bag. I also carry a -8 degree silk liner in case it is too cold for it. I love it.. super warm.
![]() In Colorado when we ride/camp in the mountains (often between 10K & 13K feet) we can get below freezing every night of the year.. so I have that bag with me every overnight ride and if it is warm I just sleep on top of it. The best part about the bag? It is KTM orange ![]() One of the keys for cold camping is to use a 4 season tent... much better protection from the elements. I have a half dozen tents that I use on the bike.. I choose the one that is best for the particular ride I'm going on - but the sleeping bag stays the same. ![]()

That tree fell on the road in front of him and....he waited for the guys with the chainsaw to cut it for him? Talk about a wasted opportunity! He should have jumped over it
