I second Twillingate Newfoundland. I've camped many places and few are as dramatic as that spot.
![]() ![]() ![]() Though Baja has it's spot's too... 50 miles south of Bay of LA ![]() ![]() Camping on top of Big Butte while on the Tour of Idaho wasn't bad either. Close to Atomic City, ID ![]() ![]() Nor is Nevada on the TAT either, no nearby town on this one... ![]() Then again Death Valley has it's sweet spots. Striped butte at Geologists Cabin

Moab
here is a spot along pot ash road... 5 minutes from cold beer in MOAB.
This is a big camping area along side the Colorado River.... There are many place to camp along the river (just south of Arches)
