It looks to me like he has a lot of room left...but it would include sliding his butt off the seat and moving his torso to the inside of the turn.

I'd vote for "he knows what he's doing." The black spot on the left lower fairing is where a K1200LT touches down at about the same time the stands make contact. Judging from the pretty thorough grinding on both the side and center stands and the footpeg, and the absence of any scrapes on the bags or upper fairing, it's pretty clear this isn't his first rodeo.

Plus those don't even look like trailer tires.

He may well know what he's doing, but a trailer like that has always impressed me as the tail wagging the dog. And add to it that we don't know how tightly the trailer, sidecases and topcase is packed. I'm Old School, and pack light & balanced.

So a question to the quandry that presents.

Is it better to overload the bike and do a single vehicle or pack the bike light and the trailer only part to capacity then and thus a tow? This is assuming that even the overloaded bike is packed with best wt distribution and the bike/ trailer set up with same best wt distribution and tongue wt.

To those that tow..we want to know.

Are you saying there is another trailer on the grassy knoll?

Invalid question. It is better to leave all the unnecessary crap behind.
