Binocular Repair?
I have a pair of Barr and Stroud AP 1900a binoculars in need of repair. Serial number is 333xx, which puts them as WWII vintage or earlier. The internal filters have come loose and I'd like to send it somewhere to be repaired / cleaned. Any suggestions for a place to send them?

My local Telescope shop http://www.astronomics.com/ recommended these two repair shops...
Suddarth Optical Repair http://www.suddarthoptical.com/ Texas Nautical Repair https://www.landseaskyco.com/store/ Suddarth works on many vintage opticals too. James |

They have a full repair shop. I'm sure they picked up all the Navy business when the OM rating was disestablished in the mid 90's. I used to buy compass fluid from them years ago. |
