Miracles happen, maybe.
From Graham Star Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013
"North Carolina transportation officials plan to
open an on-site detour route
around a closed section of
the Cherohala Skyway in
Graham County near the
Tennessee state line by
Monday."

My mom lives just out of Farner, TN (take 68 out of Tellico just a little ways) and has been telling me that a lot of the mountain roads are having issues right now from the rain. The 'road' to their house is maintained gravel, currently the creek is taking it over.

Which gets politicians campaign contributions for their reelection campaign...tax cuts or fixing roads?
