+1 for out West. Used it religiously while living in CO. I see you have an Ozark version now. Wish I had that when I was growing up in SE MO . MO has some great roads but most of them are adequately maintained. There are potholes large enough to swallow your bike.

When is the East version being released

I agree. It works well and you can make it to plot your route through mapped dirt roads.

So many choices?

Has anyone used Microsoft Streets & Trips?
The new version exports to GPS and has some nice features for planning extended trips ... finding hotels, estimating times & MPG ....
New 2013 version is only about $30 on Amazon, I'd spring for that if it worked well!

The Harley tools has a few quirks, but seems to work well... interface is similar to Google Maps which I like very much...
You do need to lay in waypoints so that if your GPS does a route recalculation it doesn't screw things up too badly, but maybe "they all do that"?

Honda's tool is similar but maybe not as advanced as the Harley tool...

There was one advertised on here a few months ago.

https://trips.furkot.com/welcome

It uses google maps and is pretty simple.

I've been on the Harley site for awhile now and I don't see a "dirt road" option? Unless you mean, dragging the auto-generated route onto dirt roads?

You can't make them to automatically prefer dirt roads, but the site will route through the dirt roads if you drag the route with your mouse.

I have upgraded to BMW Nav V, which can create routes from tracks without recalculating, so I switched to ridewithgps.com, which allows exporting the routes as tracks.
