we found the rattle!
dad's ClubCar, had developed a rattle under the seat,
he took a spin around the woods trail and when he got back he noticed a oil trail in the driveway, he followed it back to his cart ( would have liked to see that). so out the rear came only to find this. ![]() didn't need that ring gear bolt anyways, just wasn't any room for it to roam around in the case

whenever a piece comes in that has been JB welded the price doubles and if it involves attitude it triples

Brother in law fixed something like that on his "pet" bulldozer.
With Devcon mind you, not JB. Pricey at $100.00 or so for the kit. Did not fail but the rest sure did later from all the filings he most probably left in the bearings.

Lock tabs suck big time. I never use them on anything because they are unreliable no matter what's done with them. The proper way to secure those bolts is with red Loctite.
