The new McLaren MP4-28 is an evolution with a few revolutions. Engineers speak of calculated risk. Jenson Button and Sergio Perez are good things to be able to go this year for the title. We have the first pictures.

At the beginning of the launch of the new MP4 -28 was a movie. Was telling a fictional story from the past. Company founder Bruce McLaren talked about his life and his death on 2 June 1970 in Goodwood. The four-time Grand Prix winner, who died while testing his CanAm car packed, his much too short career in the message: "Never be satisfied with what you have." That should be the motto of his heirs. The racing team is the New Zealander on 2 September this year, 50 years old.
Show with McLaren Icons Part two of the McLaren anniversary show told the story of the team based on real cars. The milestones of McLaren pulled up at the factory in Woking. They came through the entrance on the banks of the artificial lake moved up and were then placed in the foyer at the veiled McLaren MP4-28 passing in a provisional starting grid.
M8D McLaren ahead of those in which Bruce McLaren was killed. Then the McLaren M23, with Emerson Fittipaldi and James Hunt won the first two World Cup titles for the team. Followed by the legendary McLaren MP 4 -4 from 1988, who was victorious in 15 of the 16 Grand Prix, the first road car from McLaren, the 13 MP4, of Mika Hakkinen was 1998 World Champion and the MP4-23 in 2008, in which Lewis Hamilton won the last World Cup to Woking.

At the very end Jenson Button and Sergio Perez came in two current road racers - the MP4-12C Spider and the super sports P1 - rolled into the lobby.

F1 Chief’s Party Animal Daughter Spent More On Booze Than Many People Make In A Year

What's the biggest bar tab you've ever ran up? $100? $500? $1,000? How about $48,693? You've probably never spent that much money on booze, but then again, you aren't Tamara Ecclestone, the smoking hot daughter of Formula One big boss Bernie Ecclestone. She knows how to make it rain when she hits the club.
According to the delightfully-named website What Would Tyler Durden Do?, Tamara was partying at the Aura Nightclub in London on Tuesday night, where she spent about £30,000 (close to 50,000 U.S. dollars) on alcohol for herself and a couple friends. And the entire bar, too.
The website secured her bar tab, which included £13,000 on regular Cristal alone, plus thousands more on what I assume is more fancy Cristal. (I'm more of a Shiner Bock/whiskey and water/prison wine kinda guy, so I wouldn't know.) Not too shabby for a Tuesday night. The moral of this story: Make it your goal to become friends with Tamara Ecclestone. Or at least try to party at the same club she's in.

Van der Garde confirms

Giedo van der Garde has announced in Amsterdam that he will be racing this year with the Caterham Formula 1 team. The 27-year-old Dutchman was test driver for the team last year.
The last Dutchman who was in Formula 1, was Christijan Albers, who drove for Minardi, Midland and Spyker between 2005 and 2007, taking part in 46 races. Robert Doornbos raced for Minardi and Red Bull in 2005 and 2006 while Jos Verstappen completed more than 100 Grands Prix with Benetton, Simtek, Footwork, Tyrrell, Stewart, Arrows and Minardi between 1994 and 2003.
There are a number of Dutch rising stars tipped for future stardom, including Sauber reserve driver Robin Frijns, plus McLaren protege Nyck de Vries and karting star Max Verstappen (son of Jos).

3) Front wing tests - to prevent them flexing, front wings now face a tougher deflection test, with a 1,000N (100kg) load applied at two different points on both the longitudinal and transverse axes. The amount the wing may deflect has been reduced from 20mm to 10mm.
