I had an extensively modified Magnum 400 back in the day. Unfortunately I have no photos of that bike but I do have this photo of a friend taken on Long Island in 1979. Gene Rupp is his name.

Here's mine. It's a 1971-ish MC250 Square Barrel. Still a work in progress but I got the motor in pretty good shape last year. This year I need to work on the chassis. Wheels are getting rebuilt with new spokes, a set of nice vintage Akronts, and a new front hub to replace the broken and welded one on the bike.

My Uncle Bill (Rae) scored his best result in 125cc racing Maico at the Isle of Man GP
back in 1971,they didn't just build mudpluggers(check the MotoGP website!).
