Yup. One lower can in place of the two high ones on the 2012 models.

IMO, the 675 Street Triple R is the best kept secret in the motorcycle World.

"It manages to be more of everything: better for newbies, more capable for fast riders, more fun for adrenalin junkies and has one of the best engines and exhaust notes in biking. It’s a great all-rounder, no matter what your ability."

(But please do not take my word on that matter... Go ride one and see if the bike does for you what it does for me)

it's probably a relapse or a flashback or something. "Gee, why didn't I buy one of these in 1986?"

Actually Momma K made them up until about 2006, I believe, so there are still recent examples with low miles that can be had for low prices. It's liquid cooled, shaft driven, hydraulic valves, 4 valves per cylinder, and lots of other features. They have a reputation for lasting a long time. This bike was designed when the Japanese were still trying to gain market share by building a better bike, instead of just building a bike that looks more like a Harley. Also with a properly modded exhaust they sound KILLER. Plenty of power to handle any need I would ever have, and pretty decent handling as well. Put a windshield, throttle lock, and luggage on it and go for a ride..... for a couple of years. "Bye Honey, I will be back in 2015!"

I have a guy who shops in our store but never bought anything yet. He has 140 bikes but his wife claims it's 160+. He rode in on a hypermotard which got my aural attention.

I know what it is, Dakez said one of these would be fun, hence my question.

I'm seriously thinking of getting one but wonder if its size is an issue. I'm about 6ft (34" in-seam).

I haven't test ridden the street triple (though I REALLY want to) but it felt pretty comfortable when I sat on it and I'm 6'1"

I have a 36" inseam and there is no way I could ride one for more than a few blocks without any discomfort, but then again I am also 6'6" and have long arms that really complicate matters. It's really made for "Normal " sized riders.

1982-83 harley fxr shovelhead. if i am going to have a vintage design i want it to truly be vintage. the fxr was never popular with the black vest do wrap crowd. bike of choice for the hells angels though.
