Hi Guys ! I just bought a 2005 blue FZ6 with just over 12000 miles on it. I've only ridden it twice but it's quite a bike. I've got loads of riding experince. On lots of different bikes. But I really like this one for our Sunday morning breakfast rides. I think it will make a great light weight sport tourer. I have to admit after looking quickly thru this post I never would have thought of anyone taking it off road. I'll stick to the pavement with mine.

so bummed. Last night when I was messing around cleaning the bike (cabin fever), I broke the puig tinted screen that came with the bike. I have the stock sheild that the PO gave me. I peeled all the stickers and residue off and with a lot of WD40, got it cleaned up. I am not a fan:
![]() I really liked the look of the tinted one better. Anybody have one laying around? or a touring screen?

Not a puig, but I snagged a tinted shield off eBay for like 30.

Are there more and cheaper choices for an 07? I'm in need of a larger windscreen, way too much cold air coming in from under my helmet, plus, smoking on the FZ ain't as easy as on the connie. yea yea, gimme shit.

I've been looking for a new windscreen for my 05 FZ6 there are not many choices that I can find. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Givi touring screen. The stock one ain't bad just a lot of wind noise. My last bike was a DR650 and it was quiet but no protection.
I feel for you northen riders staying inside cleaning your bike instead of riding. We just did a 300 mile round trip for BBQ today. The weather was perfect. I'm hoping summer stays away. Florida sucks in the summer. |
