so what? it's all about what you like to do. some like to take the kitchen sink, some like to sleep in the mud with their helmet on and eat energy bars for dinner. both are having fun. there is no right or wrong way, just personal preference.
RV people laugh at all of us. |

http://www.gearpods.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=62[/QUOTE] genius but you would think they'd sell the individual pots with one terminal end and one blanked connector, not two ends? they sell for the same price but no added sales i guess. otherwise its just a double ended jar?

Pasta, the stuff stuffed with dried cheese or spinach.
Country gravy Spam or some other canned meat. Boil the pasta until ready. Dump some water out but enough to cook the gravy. Dice and add the Spam or whatever canned protein you have. Viola, food. Same thing but instead of gravy, use red pasta sauce. Bam, food. |

All the dry stuff is easy and fast. Meat wise I bring landjager because i don't give a rat's a** if it's fresh. But if I want fresh I just kill something, season permitting of course, hahaha. I bring one small pot and one small fry pan. Either an MSR Dragonfly stove or a Solostove. The pot I like is the MSR Stowaway because it can be filled with crap and then locked together. If you need camera protection or anything of that sort, there it is. I usually go cheap and bust out the ramen and add some of the landjager to it to spruce it up. Any fruit and veggies is either stuff I dried or bought dried. Light, easy, quick, tasty! Of course, I'm not trying to write a book on being a front country motorcycle chef either, hahahaha. panniers
Since this is the semmingly correct place to ask this---and that I'm not wrapped all that tightly anyway
![]() Is there anywhere to get some of the stays that I have been seeing used to hold items in the tops of the Jessiie Bags---I have the regular BMW panniers but it has always seemed wasteful to have a space that needs to be utilized better--or do I have to make my own --- Thanks KW

Thought I'd resurrect this thread. I ran across a collapsible silicone kettle I wanted to pass it along. Not something I would carry but I still found it interesting. The concept may be an indicator of things to come in the future. More compact folding or collapsible cookware that takes up less space when packed, I think, is always a good idea. I did a quick search and also came up with a collapsible silicone pot that is available in the UK.

those are cool, but you would have to have very good flame control so you don't burn the stuff or handles.
