I just LOVE those Russian Ride Reports. I'm in and eagerly awaiting how this one unfolds. It doesn't matter if the route has been ridden before, it's always a new story and a new perspective that make it interesting.

In fact, I am poor writer, sorry.
The next 5000 km were simple. But Russia is a very large.....very large. This was only half the distance.

Hi vasar,
This looks like a fantastic trip and RR from the start. Looking forward to reading more..your riding solo on a trip like this adds a totally different perspective to the ADVenture, surely a braver and potentially more challenging trip than with a group. Btw, Walter used to be a Transalp rider..

Most of the roads are very good (especially for transalp),

but, between Jaroslav and Kirov, roads are porn, totally broken asphalt.

this mean, you are losing you teeth

The Ob River (Russian: Обь), also Obi, is a major river in western Siberia and is the world's seventh longest river. It is the westernmost of the three great Siberianrivers that flow into the Arctic Ocean (the other two being the Yenisei River and the Lena River). The Gulf of Ob is the world's longest estuary.
