Great ride report! What tires did you run? Whats the make and model of the rear bag?

I'd definitely love to ride something like this-that's the type of riding that appeals to me the most. . Just so dang hard to find that right riding partner who shares the same riding style and has the time to do it-especially living on the East Coast. I'm riding the TAT solo(R.I. to OR) this summer so maybe the following year. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. If it weren't for your ride report,someone like me on the East Coast would never know where to find such a ride. Definitely hope to ride this one.

Thanks... we ran Michelin AC-10's they are my personal favorite tire.... the rear bags are Mouse off road on two of the bikes the other two I will have to look at they are bags we made our selves from hiking fanny packs

What type of GPS did you use for the trip?

Loving this RR. If anybody wants to do the TID and needs a partner let me know. I'll be in the states for a few months this spring and would be game for it.

Where do you guys gas up along the way and how far is the longest distance between fuel stops? I have a KTM 250 EXC 2 stroke that I'd like to take on this ride, would be funner than my KLX250s nut the KLX goes further on fuel and has a plate...do you need a plate anywhere on this ride?
Great video, nice editing...thanks for taking the time to out this together and sharing it. This ride is much more my speed than rides like the WABDR (http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/) the rides on that site are more for big, heavy dual sports, would like to see more routes like this one put together.

Looks like around 200 miles in a few spots. If you're riding a 2-stroke you will need to have a very large tank and/or be resourceful about how to carry extra fuel. Last summer a local rider was the first to complete it on a 2-stroke (BlakeC);he'd be the guy to talk to.

It sounds like your bike will need to be street legal because you will be riding into and through towns at various points and the occasional section of asphalt. IIRC the website indicates that a discrete rider may be able to slip by without being street legal, but that it is somewhat of a gamble.

You would be best to check out the website for up to date info and to get input from those who have done the ride.

I have a Garmin ZUMO 665 worked great.....

I am working on day 2 still been doing to much snowmobiling lately taking a way from movie making time... I will get it up on here as soon as it's done....Thanks
