Seattle, WA – (February 7th, 2013) Renowned photo journalist and adventure motorcyclists, Ramona Schwarz, recently returned from a 1,500 mile motorcycle expedition to Madagascar where she tested Touratech’s new line of accessories for the Husqvarna TR650 Terra. Along the way, Ramona encountered a wide variety of terrain; including an assortment of asphalt, gravel, sand and mud as well as a handful of water crossings. Since leaving Seattle on December 26th, Helge Pedersen of Globeriders has logged more than 6,000 miles on his R1200GS Adventure en route to Tierra del Fuego.

Having installed Touratech's new Extreme Shock on the back of his BMW, Helge was able to evaluate his new suspension setup and has since sent us another update. after riding a wide variety of terrain.

I am in the market for an Ortlieb tank bag. Your website, TouratechUSA, and most other vendors show a price of $190US, Touratech Canada it is $282.18CDN. That is over 50% premium for the privilege of buying it in Canada!! I also recently tried to buy a Touratech brake pedal enlarger, only to discover Canada doesn't carry it, and TouratechUSA wouldn't sell it to me, since you have a supplier up here! I eventually had to buy it from A&S BMW, and ship it up from the US.

In these days where it is easy enough on the internet to find the "real" price of an item, and "most" companies are willing to ship to Canada, and I am more than willing to pay for shipping, it seems bad corporate policy to have such pricing discrepancies, and restrictions on who can buy from your internet store.

As for my tank bag, I will have to buy it from Aerostich, and have it shipped up from the USA...again....
