I've been thinking maybe one of these tubes can be bolted to the each of the front fork, to the sides of the headlight.
But that would be carry extra weight very high, which is not good. Two MSR bottle equals 1/2 gallon, about 5 pounds.

Fuel

I actually found a Clarke tank that holds 1.7 (vs stock 1.1)

I asked for it for Christmas from my Dad.

I know I said I didn't want a bigger tank. I lied. Buys me another 25 miles.

Have you try to find out the top speed of that bike on the road?

Yep. Comfortable around 50-52 mph. Rev limiter hits around 60 mph.

They're really not very strong, in my opinion. If you ride too hard, the little tabs will break off. (Done it.) I suppose you could try fastening around the entire container - but it would probably just crush it. I think getting a bigger tank from Santa is the way to go.

I did not know they had one. I figured they would stop revving when the valves started floating.
Stock sprocket sizes?

Stock sprocket sizes. I haven't messed with that yet.
I assumed it has a rev limiter because I was told to stay off it. But it may not......

That's funny. My wife is like that. When she goes riding, I always put our one and only bike GPS on her bike. Even when we're together so that if we got separated she could get home on her own.

But I'm not sure if she would actually be successful, she's never had to use it. The way she uses GPS in the car is that she relies on Voice Directions. She also has no idea where she is, just does as she's told by the voice in the machine. It mystifies her when I look at the screen map and say "No, I don't want to go that way" and take a different turn until it re-routes. But we don't have voice, or at least it's not set up, on the bike GPS.

She's 5'-3" so a little taller than OP, she weighs around 105 # and currently rides an XT-225. But it's a little heavy for her to pick up; if there is help around she will utilize it. Relative to her body weight it is like me picking up my Adventure 990 and if there is help around to pick that up, I will use it too.

Did you come up with a good solution to carry extra fuel and other "crap"? I just got a crf150r and want to copy you rather than have to think for myself you know...

Got the Clarke fuel tank, gets me to 1.7 gallons. The extra crap....no good solution yet.

I love the Idea of this. I have a CRF 250L right now but I was going to buy a KTM 350 Free Ride when they came out for tight trail stuff but I think I may go this way.
