"Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles" is a great one that is quite common in the UK. It's practically a roadsign issuing a challenge.

I had to chuckle when I saw this photo. Several years ago, my wife and I rode our K12GT up to Canaan Valley on a long weekend trip with friends. As we approached Green Bank, she spied the radio telescopes and wanted to stop. She asked their purpose and, as convincingly as I could, I explained to her they were the microwave antennas for the mid-Atlantic and southern states. She looked at me curiously and I went on to tell her they supplied the power for microwave ovens all over the region. Some of the guys started snickering and the moment was lost. I need some new friends.
